Fellow tech-enthusiasts, today I present you with something that is nothing short of a masterpiece. This is one of the best headphones that the not-so-expensive range has to offer. It comes in the modern stylish look that sets it apart from the competition with the square-shaped ear cups. The cups tilt to the right and left to ensure a perfect fit on your head. It also comes with a 3m cord, which is an extremely smart idea from Creative. This enables you to connect the speaker to your DVD player/TV/laptop and have a nice movie experience without necessarily suffering either being tied close to the screen or having to wake up the rest of the house. The 3.5mm jack is gold-plated to provide the optimum condutivity conditions. The stereo jack too is gold plated. Putting this pair to the test with a test CD that is typically used to benchmark Hi Fi loud speaker systems to see where its maximum performance measures when compared to the best. The performance was delightful to say the least. Strong satisfying bass. Effects and notes in the very low frequency band are more clear now, either for you to feel or hear them. Crisp, Clear trebles were produced, but not exactly the best. The earplug from Philips that has been featured here before ( the SHE8500 to be specific ) is a little bit better in the treble and possibly the mid-range areas. As a final word, this set is quite comparable with more expensive sets from Hi Fi brands such as Sennheiser or Koss. At this price, this is a pair that you are not forgiven to not have except if you are willing to go extreme and get the Creative Aurvana Live... the current goddess of personal high quality audio.
